Waugh House Restoration Update

In 2014 the historical society had a fundraiser and was able to make much needed repairs to the front porch. This summer of 2015 we undertook the biggest renovation since making the WAUGH HOUSE home to the society - all new vinyl replacement windows were installed plus the whole outside was painted. Some historians may baulk at us using vinyl windows, but the cost of wood replacement windows was considerably more expensive plus we do not have the manpower or money to repaint wood windows every 1 to 2 years. We think the paint and windows have turned out lovely and really show off the oldest brick house in Greenville!
